1997 BMW 850ci

Finished in Jet Black with Grey leather interior, this is a stunning example of a rare classic. If you've been looking for one of these then you've read the same ad over and over. You have read the words collectors item, limited production, hard to find a hundred times. Then what you find is a car that even after you de-pimpify it, you'll still have a 120,000 mile problem.

Well good sir, this is your lucky day. Finally, the real thing! This is the car they all wish they had. This isn't "AN" 850, this is "THE" 850. It's hard to describe just how nice this car is. Not only does it have low miles, but someone really went out of there way to keep this car in such stunning original condition.

The black finish just shimmers. There's not a mark present. Not one ding, dent, or scratch to be found. You'll notice the addition of 18 inch M parallel wheels. The former owner couldn't have chosen a better wheel to help modernize the look of the car. Not only are they BMW wheels, but they're arguably the best looking BMW wheels ever produced; expensive too. You'll find these wheels came on late model 740i sedans with a sport package.

The interior is also very nice. The leather is in great shape with no cracking or fading present. The carpets and dash are also in fine shape. All electronics (seats, windows, radio, etc) work as they should and the AC blows ice cold.

Driving this car is pure bliss weather tracking down the highway or snaking along a winding road, this 850 feels solid and secure in every way. THere's huge reserves of power in any gear, at any speed. She wants to run - FAST! The suspension soaks up the bumps with ease and handling is razor sharp. What else would you expect from a top of the line BMW coupe with only 54 thousand miles?

As you probably already know this was the last year for the 850ci. The most obvious benefit is the fact that you get all the technological advancements available at the time. Namely EDC III (adjustable suspension), servetronic variable assist steering and a steptronic gearbox which allows you to shift gears electronically. It also has the "BIG" 5.4L V12 generating a full 322 horsepower!

So there you have it. Its the last of the greatest. Mind you, this car is not for the ameature who wants something shiny in the driveway. This car is for the connesour who won't settle for anything less than the best!
