Description:
Here is a 1985 Mercedes 500 SEL in great condition. My father and I bought this car from a private owner in Florida and it has never seen Michigan winters or anything of the like. Together we put over $6,000 into it to get it running like new again. We always used a licensed Mercedes repairman. Car has only 43,600 original miles on it. Has ALL original manuals, original sales receipt, all repair receipts from 1985 to now, even the leather badge you got when you bought a Mercedes new in 1985. Original sales price was $48,314 even in 1985. We purchased it for $9000 and put another $6,000 into it, but now it's time for a new project. All parts that were replaced are listed below. I ALSO have a Car Fax Report if you'd like to see it, just ask me. Feel FREE to ask ANY questions you may have about it and I’ll answer them asap. We’ll deliver the car within 100 miles of Ann Arbor, MI. Or we can meet in the middle. Other than that it’s up to the buyer to workout transportation. I have more pictures, so if you’d like a specific picture of something just send me your email address and let me know what you want a picture of. $7500 or best offer. No low ballers please. No personal checks unless you want to wait the full week for it to clear my bank. Cash or Cashiers Check if in person. Thanks for looking.

Known Issues With The Car: (Not many sellers will tell you EVERY little thing that's wrong with their car. I will.)
Original radio does not work. The fuse blew and they do not make the fuse anymore because it’s made out of actual crystal. Aftermarket radios available to fit. I found a nice Sony CD player for $125 is all for example.
Spare tire in trunk is fairly bald but will work temporarily.
Trim around seatbelt hangers on the “B-Post” have come slightly unglued.
The lights on the buttons for the REAR seat heaters are touchy and tend to not light up.
Small scratch on the rear lip of the sunroof.
Air Conditioning is weak and needs to be recharged.
Small crack in the leather of the dashboard due to the leather drying out at some point. It's about 2" long is all.
Driver seat has abrasion in the leather on the left side presumably from my belt loop.
Small ding in the plastic on the back left side of the rear bumper. About the size of a small small paperclip.
The tachometer (RPMs) stopped working about a month ago but you don't really notice since it's an automatic.
Those are the only issues with the entire vehicle, bumper to bumper.
I'd be happy to send you close up pictures of any part of the car you'd like. Just ask me.
